MLR Class
The Maintenance and Light Repair (MLR) course prepares students for entry into Maintenance and Light Repair II. Students explore career opportunities and requirements of a professional service technician. Content emphasizes beginning transportation service skills and workplace success skills. Students study safety, tools, equipment, shop operations, basic engine fundamentals, and vehicle maintenance skills. Upon completing all of the Maintenance and Light Repair courses, students may enter automotive service industry as an ASE and/or Ford Certified Technician.

Dress the Part
As an effort to build student soft skiils and prepare them for the work place this school year all MLR students will be required to purchase and wear a GHS MLR uniform. This uniform will not change so it can be used throughout students time in course. We will promote workplace awareness every Wednesday as part of our Work Wednesday initiative.
